Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior psychiatrists and other specialists in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Conduct regular ward rounds, monitor patient progress, and update case records.
- Provide initial consultations for patients presenting with mental health concerns.
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in therapy sessions, including group and individual therapies, under supervision.
- Support the rehabilitation program, including Ayurvedic treatments and yoga-based therapies.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, statutory regulations, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution - essential.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Interest or experience in psychiatry, mental health, or holistic medicine is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- MRCPsych or equivalent is desirable
- Psychiatry experience is desirable
