Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care, adhering to professional standards and hospital policies.
- Monitor and respond to patients’ clinical needs, ensuring accurate documentation and confidentiality.
- Supervise and support junior nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist in maintaining and improving standards of care, quality assurance, and emergency protocols.
- Manage resources efficiently, including stock control and departmental supplies.
- Promote professional development, participate in training, and mentor nursing staff.
- Engage in research and policy development to enhance patient care.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). ******Adaptation/work permit support is not available at this time******
- Minimum 6 months’ post-registration recent experience in theatre nursing.
- Postgraduate qualification or relevant course in peri-operative nursing desirable.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
