Job Summary
The Aesthetic Doctor is responsible for evaluating patients,
developing individualized treatment plans, and performing non-surgical and
minimally invasive aesthetic procedures to enhance appearance and skin health.
The role focuses on delivering safe, natural-looking results using
evidence-based techniques while ensuring full compliance with Ministry of
Health regulations and clinical governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to assess aesthetic concerns, expectations, and medical history.
- Evaluate skin condition, facial anatomy, and body areas to determine appropriate treatment options.
- Develop customized treatment plans aligned with best medical practices and patient goals.
- Perform approved non-surgical and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures (Botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, thread lifts, PRP, mesotherapy, microneedling, chemical peels, laser and light-based therapies, non-invasive body contouring treatments).
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care instructions and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant Health Authority regulations and scope of practice.
- Stay updated on advancements, technologies, and best practices in aesthetic medicine.
RequirementsRequirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from a recognized.
- Completion of a recognized and accredited Aesthetic Medicine Training Program
or completion of training in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery with additional certification in Aesthetic Medicine.
- Recognized certifications may include programs accredited by institutions such as:
- British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM)
- American Board of Aesthetic Medicine (ABAM)
- American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM)
- Other Ministry of Health or Health Authority–approved training bodies
- Training must include both theoretical and hands-on clinical components.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience in aesthetic medicine after completion of training.
- Valid and active medical license from the relevant Health Authority.
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy, aesthetic assessment, and patient safety standards.
- Excellent consultation and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- High level of professionalism, ethics, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus.
