Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant position based in Bengaluru. The Dental Assistant will assist dentists during procedures, prepare and maintain instruments and equipment, and ensure the clinic operates smoothly. Key responsibilities include interacting with patients, maintaining sterilization and cleanliness standards, organizing appointments, and managing patient records. The role also involves supporting other team members to deliver high-quality patient care efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in assisting dentists with clinical procedures and preparing treatment areas
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, instrument handling, and dental equipment maintenance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and care
- Organizational skills for managing appointments, patient records, and clinic supplies
- Understanding of oral health practices, both for general dental and specialized areas like pediatric and cosmetic dentistry, is advantageous
- Relevant diploma or certification in dental assisting
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or similar healthcare environment is a plus
