Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Haripad for a Junior Resident Veterinary Doctor. The responsibilities include assisting senior veterinary doctors, performing routine medical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, administering treatments, and providing guidance to pet owners. The role also involves performing minor surgical procedures, monitoring recovery, and maintaining medical records. The individual will provide specialized care for exotic and avian pets and must demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing their expertise in veterinary medicine.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in medical diagnosis, treatment planning, and routine veterinary care for pets, including exotic and avian species.
- Experience and proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures and emergency care.
- Effective communication skills to provide guidance and support to pet owners.
- Ability to maintain detailed medical records and ensure professionalism in patient care.
- Passion for working with exotic and avian pets, with the willingness to learn and adapt to specialized veterinary techniques.
- Possession of a degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVSc or equivalent) and eligibility for local registration/licensure as a veterinary practitioner.
- Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital is desirable but not mandatory for the role.
